Harbor Pilates Studio Etiquette

At Harbor Pilates, we value a calm, focused environment, that allows every clients to move with intension and ease. The following guidelines help support a respectful, safe and elevated studio experience for everyone.

Studio Guidelines

Arrival & Punctuality
 
 
Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in and prepare for class. Late arrivals may disrupt the flow of the session and may not be admitted once class has begun.
 
 
 
Movement & Self-Responsibility
 
 
Pilates at Harbor emphasizes awareness and personal responsibility. Clients are encouraged to work within their own range of motion, modify as needed, and rest when appropriate. Pain is never encouraged.
 
 
 
Attire & Personal Items
 
 
Comfortable movement attire is recommended. Grip socks are required for apparatus sessions. Personal items should be stored neatly to maintain a clear, uncluttered studio space.
 
 
 
Silence & Focus
 
 
To preserve a focused environment, we ask that phones remain silenced and conversations be kept minimal during sessions.
 
 
 
Health & Safety
 
 
If you are experiencing an injury, illness, or change in your health, please inform your instructor prior to class so appropriate modifications can be offered.
 
 
 
Cancellations & Courtesy
 
 
We appreciate timely communication for cancellations or schedule changes. This allows us to accommodate other clients and maintain a smooth studio schedule.
